ClassesMike Lawson’s Boot Camp is a results-driven conditioning program that runs twice a week. Our Spring/Summer 2010 Seattle boot camp will be held early morning at Gas Works Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 am. Evening Outdoor Camp is at Lower Woodland Greenlake on Monday and Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm. Boot camp is conducted using a military-style format, combined with the most progressive, innovative, and creative exercises in fitness. We know Boot Camp can sound intimidating, but anyone who has the desire to change their body and outlook in a positive way can do it. It’s simple and fun, but not easy. That’s where Mike Lawson and, Okashi Robles, come in to help motivate you to go the extra step and push up to achieve your goal. Boot Camp Fitness workouts include, but are not limited to: cardiovascular, speed and endurance, partner resistance, strength training with dumbbells, barbells, torture tubes, and body weight exercises. We expand your fitness horizons with fitness games, relays, scavenger hunts, group challenges, kickboxing, medicine ball drills, plyometrics, box drills, fartlek training, obstacle course, guerilla drills, grass drills, and many versions of the military standard push-up and sit up! Haven’t worked out in months or years?Don’t fret. Boot Camp is for all fitness levels – whether you work out daily or haven’t worked out since high school. All activities are structured so that you can choose the appropriate intensity for your fitness level. Why Join Our Boot Camp? We all live busy lives. With morning and evening sessions, you can easily work the classes into your busy schedule. And, the extra energy you’ll begin to feel will help you be more productive throughout the rest of your daily activities. Boot Camp is based upon the principles of discipline, motivation, and teamwork! Even though Boot Camp is based on a military-style training program, no one will ever embarrass or harass you. This program is about having FUN, motivation, and seeing REAL results! Motivation is a major key to your success. Our course is continuously being developed to keep motivation levels high. No two workouts will ever be the same! Not only is this a mark of a well-designed program, but it also prevents the boredom that many people experience after committing to a long-term fitness regimen. Each person at Boot Camp starts and finishes together. This bonds individuals into a group, making it easier to stay dedicated to the program. Sgt.
